Heather Honeycomb Frame – Pure, Raw & Straight From the Hive

Discover honey in its purest form with our Heather Honeycomb Frame, harvested from our hives in Glen Clova and Dunkeld. Each frame is taken straight from the hive exactly as the bees created it — raw, unheated, unfiltered and naturally packed with thick, rich, heather honey. 

Each frame contains a minimum of 3 kg of honeycomb, sealed in its original wooden frame and presented in a hand-oiled wooden sleeve box, wrapped in protective cellophane.

Personalisation Option:

You can also make it truly unique by adding an optional engraved personal message to the presentation box — perfect for gifting or marking a special occasion.

What makes Heather Honeycomb special

Our Heather Honey is one of Scotland’s most prized natural products — bold, aromatic, and unmistakably rich. Thick and jelly-like in texture, its colour varies naturally from lighter golden tones to deeper amber depending on the heather and season. Our heather honey is harvested during an 8-week late-summer season when Ling Heather and Bell Heather bloom across the Scottish glens.

How to Enjoy Your Honeycomb Frame

Your frame arrives exactly as it came from the hive. To enjoy:

Cutting Into the Comb

1. Use a warm or hot knife to slice through the thin wax cappings.
   
2. Scoop, slice, or carve out pieces of the honeycomb.
   
3. Enjoy as-is — wax and all — or chew and discard the wax if preferred.

Heather honey’s natural thickness means it won’t pour out excessively when cut.
